Attorney, Todd J. Roberts has been a strong consumer advocate for over 20 years. Mr. Roberts' body of work is extensive and well respected amongst his colleagues. He has successfully assisted literally thousands of consumers and creditors alike.
He has a thorough, comprehensive, command of the law and limits his practice solely to Bankruptcy and Reorganization. Mr. Roberts believes that the unfortunate, well-intentioned debtor should have equal access to the law as well as the ability to meet and to retain competent, knowledgeable and affordable legal representatiion. This is a driving force as to why Mr. Roberts provides critical Pro Bono assistance to people in great need.
Mr. Roberts is annually recognized by the United States Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California for his consistent contributions to the Debtor Assistance Project & Public Counsel. Mr. Roberts is also recognized by the San Fernando Valley Bar Assocaition for his Pro Bono work with senior citizens and at the Woodland Hills Federal Bankruptcy Court House, "Self Help Desk." Mr. Roberts has been invited to speak at various venues, including, Debtor's Assistance Project and San Fernando Valley Bar Association sponsored events regarding the fundamental differences between Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Bankruptcy.
Not all lawyers believe in the "Public Good." In fact, Institutional Creditors employ powerful lobbying groups to influence and shape legislation to further their profit while minimizing their risk, typically at the expense of the consumer. As a direct result, most consumers are already at a significant disadvantage when the time comes to consider the lawful and necessary remedy of Bankruptcy. Despite changes to the Bankruptcy Code in recent years, Bankruptcy remains a viable and powerful consumer tool to maintain the status quo, while enabling consumers to eliminate most debt and, where desired, to gain additional time to retain assets through debt restructuing.
The equitable remedy of Bankruptcy also serves to even the playing field between those with unlimited resources and those with far less. Because creditors employ highly skilled attorneys to represent their interests, it is imperative that debtors have that same access to highly skilled, experienced and knowledgeable counsel at an affordable price. No justice system is without flaws, but armed with competent counsel, the consumer is all but assured of an equitable outcome, regardless of limited financial resources.
Call us today and allow us to put our experience and knowledge to work for you! We want you to be properly advised as to all your lawful options and remedies, not just Bankruptcy related. When Bankruptcy is the right remedy, a modest financial commitment is all that is required, in most cases, to secure full and committed attorney representaiton with our firm. Allow us to assist you in your time of need and to protect your rights, assets and dignity. I assure you, you'll be glad you did.
Sincerely,
Todd Jason Roberts, Attorney at Law, SBN 181945
